Approximately a month ago, Amy and Eddie got married in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and yesterday they threw a party here in Long Island so those who could not made the trip to have the occasion to congratulate them too. It was very different from a traditional wedding reception, more like a picnic because of the location, in a park, dressed casually and having classical American BBQ food. We had a good time though, and the weather was very nice. The highlight of the party was a bagpipe band singing Irish folk songs!!!
