Today Catholics celebrate Palm Sunday (Floriile), the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. People were cheering and laying down small branches in front of Him, so that's way there is the tradition that on this day to distribute palm leaves or willow branches. Following the Last Supper with the 12 Apostles, Jesus was arrested and then, on Good Friday crucified. On Easter Sunday, He was resurrected from the dead.
Every year, Macy's departament store marks the beginning of Easter Holiday with a fantastic Flower Show. Not only the windows but the inside of the store is decorated with unique flower arrangements or blooming trees...and the smell is out of this world. Iuliana this is your place never to leave!

Dana, poti sa intrebi la Macy's marks daca nu au nevoie de paza ptr flori? ma ofer voluntar si garantez ca nu ma misc de acolo!!!
e foarte frumos si imi imaginez ca spatiul amenajat e destul de mare si foarte variat in sortimente. Abia astept sa amenajez si eu "terasa noastra imensa" (a se citi "balconas". Din pacate este spre apus si o sa am o mare problema cu identificarea acelor plante iubitoare de mult soare, in afara de cactusi, pentru ca mie imi plac plantele bogate in frunze si flori...voi vedea la momentul potrivit... aici la tine e ok, spre rasarit, e soare doar dimineata...
Magazinul este imens si, si fara flori este elegant...acum insa, pana la sfarsitul lunii aprilie este deosebit. Cat despre mine imi place mai mult sa admir florile decat sa le ingrijesc: e o bataie de cap in plus! Totusi primavara aceasta n-am putut sa ma abtin si mi-am cumparat un "money tree", cica, se zice iti aduce noroc si te umpli de bani...Voi posta o poza sa-mi spui daca se gaseste si in RO, daca nu, sa vad cum fac sa-l aduc de aici. Nu vreau sa raman fara speranta ca ma voi imbogatii!!!
