Thanksgiving
MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE
It is an annual event featuring balloons , floats , marching bands , performances from top Broadway shows and the famous Radio City Rockettes. This is the American tradition to start the holiday season. The store turned this year 150 out of each the parade was on for 82 years.

Thanksgiving is tomorrow
Another Thanksgiving !
Tomorrow we were invited to a traditionally Thanksgiving dinner by Kevin's parents , Maureen and Bill. I don't need it , but unfortunately I'm gonna eat , Maureen is a very good cook and I'm sure she will have to many tasty things not to be tempted by .

New York City Marathon
Today, November 2nd, runners from all over the world took it to the streets of NYC for another edition of the marathon. The 26.2 mile race starts at Verrazano Bridge goes through all the five boroughs-Staten Island, Brooklyn , Queens , Bronx and Manhattan -to finish in Central Park. It is a well known marathon and cities around the globe modeled their own after this one.The price for the top winner is $ 600 000.The NYC Marathon started in 1970 with only 127 runners and $1 entry fee. The co-founder,Fred Lebow, was born in Romania!
