Bucovina

(the northern part of Romania)
... came to us in a park from Bucharest on a sunny fall day. We were introduced to the Bucovina's culture, music, dancing and of course the food. Alongside with a couple of friends we enjoyed everything. Maybe next year we will go and visit the area...

Romania

All summer long we were roaming through the country to discover interesting places.
The latest, Muddy Volcanoes . These small volcanoes are a natural phenomenon that consists of mud being pushed to the surface by gases that emerge as bubbles.

Flugtag in Bucharest (Flying Day)

This past week end, Bucharest turned 551 years old. It was mentioned for the first time in documents in 1459, as "Citadel of Bucharest". With this occasion, there were grand celebrations with different events: street fairs, parades, concerts (we went to see Voltaj), fireworks...
Flugtag was part of the festivities and involves team launching human powered flying crafts off a ramp into the air over the water - Dambovita

It was stupid, but fun.
The teams showed really good imagination...
See the pictures : The Flying Mouse, The Impalers or The Aristocats...
